The Lesson of Syria (and Biden and Trudeau and Starmer and Scholz and Macron and...)
Once in motion, dominoes of all types could end up falling...
It's a well known rule that when Esav rises, Yaakov falls.
And vice versa.
When Rivka went to Shem ben Noach to ask what was going on with the Ali- Frazier dust-up inside her belly, he explained that like a geopolitical teeter-totter, the ascent of one brother bespoke the lowliness of the other.
And so it is today…
Consider —
After the Simchat Torah war began, it could be reasonably asserted that Yaakov hit an historically meaningful low.
The entire western world erupted in a gleeful schadenfreude hatefest, and the time it took to organize and exact a painful revenge on the Gazans didn't help.
We appeared caught unawares, and that gave the Jew-haters hope.
As it turned out, however, we trumped the Gazan enemy (for the time being), the Lebanese Hizb’Allah enemy (for the time being), and appeared to have scored something of a victory in Syria, too, though the longer-term consequences of that country's regime change remain to be seen.
And all in the course of just over a year!
Now, nothing’s finished, of course, and there are still guns and gunners in Gaza, Lebanon, Yehuda and Shomron and elsewhere — all ready to die killing us.
Then, of course, there’s Persia, with whom we still have to deal.
Not to mention our own gloating and wicked Erev Rav — may they all meet a swift end.
But isn't it also remarkable, for those who care to see, that as the local dominoes fell and Yaakov began to reassert himself over a cruel Mohammedan enemy, that Esav, concurrently, began to crumble?
Witness—
Canada, where the child-king, Justin Casey Skruse-Eddup Trudeau, has lost the reins entirely and is being hounded by his own party to step down, making new elections imminent.
Germany, where Olaf “the boob” Scholz is now facing elections against an immensely popular anti-Arab AfD Party and will likely also be booted from power.
South Korea, where the current (former?) President Yoon is resisting arrest after impeachment and the country is facing a constitutionl crisis.
France, where Emmanuel Macron is in the midst of a political swamp of his own making, after naming his fourth Prime Minister inside a year. Marine LePen, another Arab hater will likely succeed him.
The U.K, where current Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s collapse in the polls has been historic, and even supporters are united in the view that the government has failed them and their interests.
The U.S., where Barack Obama and his numerous stooge stand-ins have breathed their last, turning power over to the billionaires (who won’t be able to do a thing against the spiraling decline that nation is now undergoing).
Clearly, when Israel is getting its act together, taking down its enemies and expanding its territory, Esav is in disarray.
May our own, Edomite Erev Rav leadership quickly follow suit.
Quick — like Syria!
And be replaced by the Holy Kingdom of the House of David.

I find this framing strange. It gives Yaakov credit for destroying Hizballah, Hamas, Syria - yet acknowledges the army that did so is run by Edomite (i.e. Eisavite) Erev Rav?
It seems arbitrary to say Esiav is failing because some random Western leaders are struggling. In fact, more competent leadership only strengthens Eisav.
